We would like to inform you that unfortunately there will be no Swale Festival of Transport this year.
We have had to make this decision after some very long and tiresome research and meetings.
There are a number of reasons that have brought us to this conclusion. These include ill health on my part and the cost of equipment hire being too expensive for us due to the increased number of events taking place to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee and, of course, London 2012.
As I’m sure you will appreciate, being a solely self funded charity event, we simply do not have the funds to meet these increased costs and would hate to jeopardise the festival by going ahead without being fully prepared.
We will, however, be coming back in on the 13th & 14th July 2013 with a much bigger and better festival and we sincerely hope that you will be able to join us and help us raise the much needed funds for the Kent Air Ambulance and RNLI.
If you already have an entry form for 2012, then please feel free to return it to us to book in for the 2013 festival. Also, please note that there will be NO CHARGE for vehicle exhibitor entries for the new and improved festival!!! (although all donations would be very gratefully received)
If you have already returned a form to us with a cheque, please contact us to let us know if you would like to be booked in for 2013 so we know whether to return a vehicle pass when we return your cheque.
